Review of Deepcharts
"Strong community but very limited flexibility"
I’ve been using Deepcharts for a while, and it’s a solid platform for experienced traders, but also quite limiting depending on your needs.
The strongest part is the community. Fabio Valentini (fabervaale), Andrea Cimitan, and the Deep team run frequent live sessions that are genuinely insightful, not just about the platform but also advanced trading concepts around order flow. The Discord is active, with users sharing templates and ideas, which helps if you already know what you’re doing.
The platform comes with built-in indicators that simplify reading mostly L1 and order flow data, plus ready-made templates. It’s straightforward once you understand the basics.
That said, it doesn’t really stand out compared to other platforms. Most of what it offers can be recreated elsewhere with some effort, so the value is more in convenience than uniqueness.
The main limitation is flexibility. You can’t build custom indicators, the Pattern Builder is very basic, and there’s no API. This makes it hard to go beyond discretionary trading or integrate it into more advanced workflows. For systematic traders, this is restrictive.
Pricing is high, especially since it’s not included in prop firm offerings. Also, it’s Windows-only.
This isn’t a beginner-friendly platform. You need to already understand order flow and discretionary trading to get value from it. Even then, it’s impossible to make money just using Deepcharts alone, no matter what you see in their lives or Discord.
I wouldn’t spend too much time relying on it early on. Learn order flow fundamentals first, which can be done with other platforms, including free ones. Real progress comes from consistent learning and practice, not from the platform itself.
