Dr.ssa Med. Albonico Elena

Dr. Elena Albonico after obtaining her degree in Medicine from the University of Milan, Italy, undertook her specialist training in Gynecology and Obstetrics working as an assistant physician in various Swiss hospital centers of high educational level for number and complexity of clinical cases.

After beginning her working career at St. John's Hospital in Bellinzona, she then did most of her training in Canton Zurich at GZO Spital Wetzikon and Stadtspital Triemli Zürich hospitals, acquiring skills ranging in various areas of gynecology-obstetrics.

She has attended various theoretical and practical courses and seminars in the area of her specialty of interest, recognized at the national and European level, as well as specific courses in medical communication.

Returning back to Canton Ticino, she then obtained the federal title of specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics, after passing the last specialty exam, held at the Regional Hospital of Lugano.

In 2019, he also obtained the European Diploma in Colposcopy in Basel.
