Aebi's spices have been sold in the Swiss retail and wholesale trade for several years. In addition to the original "Aebi's Original" recipe, there are four other special spices as well as a tasty gravy and two bouillon pastes. Many catering businesses have had great confidence in our products for years and use them in their kitchens every day. We are constantly striving to expand our range with new products. Distribution is handled by the company Gourmet Trade AG.

The Aebi family

Jakob Aebi was born in 1894 as one of 12 children. He founded his butcher's shop in Burgdorf in 1928. As a trained master butcher, he butchered and sausaged the meat himself. His wife Emma ran the associated store. Jakob had two sons: Hans and Ernst. Hans took over the butcher's shop in 1951. He in turn had three children: Christine, Peter and Urs. Both sons carried on the butchery tradition. They sold the butcher's shop in 1954.
