Bellinzona's unmissable carnival. Only note: admission prices have become too high (40 francs for one night only is ridiculous). Especially if you live too close to use the public transportation offered (or in areas where they don't arrive). Also, the beauty of the carnival is the guggen and marquee music and not the semi unknown performers in the sun square who are paid a bang per night only contributing to higher prices. I recommend going in early and eating at a downtown restaurant while you wait (it's cheaper).
