The Laboratory

The company PharmaCina DHAO was born in 2000 from a project between a pharmacist and a Chinese medical expert, who wanted to create a professional structure at the service of a good practice of Chinese medicine. All its activities are, for this reason, animated by the desire to promote the development of a safe and quality Chinese medicine.

The import of herbs: quality – purity – freshness

All our herbal medicine suppliers are carefully selected according to very strict quality criteria. The first factor we refer to is the origin of the raw material “the best plant in the best region”, combined with the need for freshness “always of the last harvest”.

After adequate preparation on site and transport, all products are subjected to a number of analyses to scientifically test their quality and purity, especially with regard to the examination of identity, the presence of heavy metals, pesticide and mold in accordance with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and European standards. Each plant is guaranteed by an examination and analysis certificate.

Storage: rotation – stability

The herbs are carefully stored in an air-conditioned warehouse, sheltered from light, at stable and controlled relative temperature and humidity. The stock is constantly adapted to our needs and is regularly checked, in order to exclude the presence of insects or mould formation and avoid the ageing of herbs.

The laboratory: quality – control – safety

The preparation of raw materials in their prepared forms (toasted, with wine, with vinegar,...) is carried out following the techniques and recipes typical of Chinese medicine, in accordance with the standards of Pharmacopoeia. . .
