The association

The Association proposes specialized activities related to the movement, in order to allow the stay at the home of persons resident in the area, confronted with illness, injury, disability and old age.

The centre

The Centre has the priority to reduce the risk of falling older people and, more generally, to devote a space to people with health issues such as obesity, rheumatic or cardio-respiratory diseases for which a physical fitness maintenance activity is necessary.

The space of 150 square meters has been set up with specialized equipment developed by the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich.

These machines allow personalised training through a gradual increase of resistances to train strength, asymmetric physical activity (for example, for people with disabilities) or even platforms to train cognitive-motor balance and coordination.

The activities carried out with the use of specific machinery allow to maintain and improve the autonomy of movements and functional independence, increasing agility, responsiveness and coordination.

The constant use of machinery, increases psychophysical performance and contrasts physiological risk factors, the emergence of pathologies, prevents falls among the elderly and amplifies the results of rehabilitation.

The staff is composed of specialized physiotherapists.
