About Grotto America
Our history
It was 30,000 Ticino emigrated to North America "California" from 1849 to 1918.
The Grotto "GR8" America was the meeting place where the caravans were waiting towards Genoa and then sail beyond the Atlantic Ocean. He was named Grotto in 1890.
Our kitchen
Our kitchen focuses on offering traditional dishes with an innovative touch, mainly using all the good local products of Canton Ticino. We collaborate with small producers close to us, from the Maggia Valley to the Val Onsernone, so we support the small realities that guarantee the true quality of "house".
