Auberge de Bellelay

Built in 1698, the Hôtel de l'Ours is a former hostelry of the Bellelay Abbey. A testament to the generous hospitality practised during the abbey's centuries of existence, this venerable building is the oldest fully preserved example of this. It is one of the few and undoubtedly the most important example of turn-of-the-18th-century hotel architecture in the entire Jura Arc.

We look forward to welcoming you to our magnificent 16th-century hotel-restaurant, just opposite the famous Bellelay abbey church.

Completely renovated in 2020, the hotel offers 11 rooms and 1 family room, all comfortably furnished in the heart of authentic nature.
